How
do I use this site? |
| 99% of people who
visit this site do so to view our current used car stock, or to seek
details on a specific car. In both cases, you only need to go to the
STOCK
LIST by clicking on the wording on the navigation bar
(..the green bar on the left of every page. Once on the
STOCK
LIST, the cars are listed in alphabetical order by make,
and then each make is listed in price order.
At the end of each line, it will say either
Photo
or Info.
Clicking on this will bring up a page with the full specification of the
car, and, if the car has arrived in stock, at least one photo. Clicking on
photos will enlarge them on your screen. Cars marked
Info
are DEFINITELY available in the next few days. Unlike some dealers, we do
not invent cars to create interest.
Each vehicle details page is 'labelled', so
if you save it on your computer, it will say, for example, Ford Focus 18i 16v Zetec 5dr
V-reg, as opposed to just row of numbers and letters you'd get if we
did it the easy way!
At the bottom of each page is a 'hit
counter' which enables you to see how many other people have viewed that
particular page before you. |

History
of the site.. |
| Turnersonline first
went online in April 2001, so we're a relatively new web site, but Turners
of Roborough, we're initially established in 1994. The website is run in
house, by the staff of Turners. This ensures that it can be kept bang up
to date, and the information is accurate. We'd be the first to admit that
our site mat not be the prettiest or most futuristic to look at, we think
that you'd be hard pushed to find a site that does a better job of telling
you what you want to know, quickly and clearly. You're
never more than 2 clicks away from any car! |
|
Saving
pictures.. |
| Many people like to
download pictures of the cars featured on the site. To do this,
first enlarge the picture
by left-clicking on it. Then, simply
right click on the picture, and choose save picture as, then choose
where on your computer you want to save it. To help you, we have 'named'
each picture to help you find it on your computer later. |

Is
it updated often? |
| One of the great
things about updating our site ourselves, is that it can be kept VERY up
to date. Often, the site is updated several times during one day. If one
of our sales team has a day off, you could know about a new car before he
does. An important point to remember is that as dealers, we submit
our Autotrader advert on a Monday evening, so by the time you see it on
Friday, it is out of date. The web site however, will have been updated
several times in the meantime, and will feature cars not in our Autotrader
advert.
One very important point though..
Please if you are travelling any distance to look at a particular car,
do PHONE US before you leave, to ensure that the car is still available |
|
Getting
more information |
| Each vehicle
details page will tell most people all they need to know to decide if a
car is of interest or not; but customers travelling a great distance often
want better idea of certain aspects. You can 'phone of course, but if it
helps, we can also take more photo's of a car,(i.e, interior, rear, under
bonnet) and e-mail them to you.
The one thing we get asked every day, is
how much will you give me in part exchange? Well, we do want to help with
this, but there really isn't a way of valuing a car without seeing it,
but.. if you are travelling some distance to see a car, phone us, and we
will discuss a ball-park figure.
